So it's been awhile since I last updated this thing so here goes....|
The past couple of months have been filled with many different things. S heres the breakdown.
I have been trying to find a work from home job that isn't a scam..(Which is work in it's self lol) But it looks like I'll be starting on at the end of this month (Heres to crossing my fingers).
I am getting ready to go back to school, which if you look back in some of my other posts I have said Many times before, but this time I followed threw. I have a meeting with a councilor at the end of this month. I'll be taking on-line classes and one lab.
Kids grow up fast.
My little one is 17 months old. He just started to walk. He's so funny. He'll take a few steps and then start giggling and then fall....
Therapy is going well. We've been going since Dec of last year. We go twice a week for a total of 2 hours. Sam was diagnosed with a mild case of CP (Cerebral Palsy. His right hand is quite often he'll in a fist with his little thumb held under all the rest of his fingers. We use a small flexible brace to help hold his thumb in an open position.
We go for an MRI on the 22nd of this month.
I'm a tad worried because he has to be sedated for it as well as placed on an IV. He also can't eat anything before we go, and he loves his food so that's going to be hard....
My health has been a little less then good. A couple of weeks ago I had a concussion for falling down the stairs when I was taking laundry out. Spent 3 hours in the ER. It wasn't that bad, but it still wasn't fun.
I am more worried about the underlying cause of why I fell. I have been getting these sharp pains in my left temple and sometimes they cause me to feel light headed or dizzy and that's what happened on the stairs.
Not fun. So hopefully I'll get that figured out soon. Really all I want to do is get threw this month and all of Sam's doctors appointments, then I'll worry about me.
Generally life has been ok. I am hoping for a few changes in the next couple of months. Hopefully moving into a bigger place, getting my license, a car.....
Change is good.
I have been trying to be a little more active on the community forums and message boards. Especially VCMB.Org. Lots of funb stuff happening there.
A friend of mine got me to dust of some book manuscripts that I started maybe a yeah and a half ago. So far I am working mostly on the Teen vampire book and the "General" vampire book. Both of them are growing steadily.
I hope to have the Teen book finished by Dec 2007 and published by Jan 2008.
The general one I hope to have out by min year 2008.
The Kindred Tribune is in it's 2nd year and still going strong. We distribute close to 200 copies each issue. We have about 150 subscribers and then anywhere between 50 - 60 downloads from our website (Vein Press and Publishing)
)I am also running a Southern California Vampire event this year. It's being held in July. Free food,Music, and a raffle. To find out more info please feel free to visit us:

A dear friend and I are looking at starting a Podcast/Video Cast about the Dark Culture on the West Coast. We've already been granted to film at two of Southern California's most popular clubs.
Currently we're in the early planning stages so stay tuned.
Meet-up:Orange County Vampire Meetup
The meets are going well.
I am planning a few more outings and such.
I'll probably start doing Meetup Re-caps here again as well as on myspace and the meetup site.
We've Been going for Dim Sum once a month and that's become a popular event.
So that's about it.... I guess....
I am sure I left something out, but oh well..
I am now headed off to pack some bags so we can go to the Beach.
